Jackson South Side and Lexington are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. Meanwhile, Lexington fell victim to South Gibson and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Hornets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Jackson South Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Jackson South Side couldn't quite get it done against Lexington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
