Basketball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Takes a Loss

Cosumnes Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 68-59 to the Pleasant Grove Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-45 back in January.

It was another big night for Pharrell Williams, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds for Pleasant Grove. What's more, Williams also racked up seven assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was AJ Breslin, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 16 points.

Cosumnes Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Pleasant Grove, their win bumped their record up to 9-19.

As of now, neither Cosumnes Oaks nor Pleasant Grove have any future games scheduled.
