American Fork won the last time they faced Skyridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavemen beat the Falcons by a goal, winning 2-1. Given American Fork's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Skyridge are ranked 41st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

CAMBREE BALLARD and SURI PARSIA scored both of American Fork's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

American Fork has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Skyridge, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
