Priory is 9-1 against Westmoor since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will face off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Priory is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since May 9, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Harker by a score of 4-2.

Priory saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Westmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Crystal Springs Uplands.

Isaac Hong was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

Priory's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Westmoor, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Priory hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Westmoor struggles in that department as they've averaged .329. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Priory beat Westmoor 10-7 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
