 South Panola was the  13-4 winner over Center Hill when they last played one another  back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The South Panola Tigers took  an  8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Center Hill Mustangs on Tuesday.
 South Panola saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Michael Johnson, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 On Center Hill's side, they got a great performance from  Mac Atkins as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Atkins has been consistent recently: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  JaMaryon Warren was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Avery Rodgers, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 South Panola's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Center Hill, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
 While South Panola had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
