Baseball Recap: Nathan Hale Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nathan Hale's offense. They came up short against the Midwest City Bombers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bombers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Nathan Hale and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Midwest City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.

Coming up, Nathan Hale will take on Bishop Kelley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Kelley will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Nathan Hale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Midwest City, they will challenge Norman North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norman North's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Midwest City's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
