Franklin has gone a perfect 8-0 against Sharon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Franklin fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Milford on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 6-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Sharon's offense. They lost 14-0 to Attleboro on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bombardiers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sharon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Franklin's way against Sharon in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Franklin made off with a 28-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
