6A Conference 7 recap September 24, 2013

T.C. Williams scaled the state rankings by moving to 30 from 66 this week, the biggest jump in 6A Conference 7. The Titans climbed the ranks as a result of beating Langley 13-0.

West Potomac was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in the league. The Wolverines defeated Woodson 24-7 earlier in the week.

South County's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. David Symmes threw for 159 and 2 touchdowns and Kevin Quigley had 128 yards receiving. On the ground Michael Gibson contributed 107 yards. Gerald Hulett helped South County's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 50 yards.

Lake Braddock and Westfield played the closest game in the league this week, with Lake Braddock eventually emerging with a 28-24 victory.
