Softball Game Preview: Middlesboro Yellowjackets vs. Gallatin County Wildcats

The Middlesboro Yellowjackets will challenge the Gallatin County Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Middlesboro has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Middlesboro came up short against Russell County on Monday, falling 12-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gallatin County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past Metcalfe County 8-6.

Kayleigh Lindsey was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Daylen Florence, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Gallatin County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Middlesboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
