Jenkins came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Jackson City, but Gavin Ritchie wouldn't allow it. The Tigers secured a 52-48 W over the Cavaliers on Saturday for which the team can thank Ritchie, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Jackson City and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Jenkins, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Jackson City will be home for the holidays to greet Buckhorn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Jenkins, they will head out to square off against Letcher County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
