Softball Recap: Eagle Point Eagles vs. Churchill Lancers
Eagle Point extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 10-8. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Churchill Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Tuesday.
As for Churchill, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games.
