Baseball Game Preview: Edgemont Panthers vs. Byram Hills Bobcats

The Edgemont Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Byram Hills Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Edgemont has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bronxville hit Edgemont with a four-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Broncos.

Edgemont saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Terrasi, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Byram Hills had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 9-5 to Lakeland last Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Edgemont's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Byram Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Edgemont suffered a grim 10-2 defeat to Byram Hills when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
