After a string of six wins, Northeast Nodaway's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Nodaway-Holt Trojans, falling 64-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-25 back in December of 2024.

Northeast Nodaway's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Nodaway-Holt, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Northeast Nodaway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-32 loss against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] on the 7th. As for Nodaway-Holt, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Nodaway at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
