Baseball Game Preview: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Orem Tigers

For the second straight game, Spanish Fork will face off against Orem. The Dons will welcome the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Spanish Fork is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Orem by a score of 12-8 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Dons considering their one-run performance the game before.

Pratt Morley was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Spanish Fork's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 6-13 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Nixon Warren, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Spanish Fork's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Orem, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.
