Prentiss Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,740 from 13,186. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 41-14 victory over Tallulah Academy last week.
Newton County Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Generals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tanner Smith has thrown for 541 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Joseph Little has 10 catches for 302 yards. Zack Meeks leads the league in rushing with 488 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ben's Ford Christian takes on the Saints. As it stands, the Eagles are in second, while Prentiss Christian is in third.
The Saints led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on the Trojans.
