Brookwood lost to Archer back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Broncos walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22.

Nahla Jackson paced Brookwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Jackson got some help from Alyssa Feder and her 18 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Archer lost, don't look at Jayana Castro. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and three assists. Illuse Quaye also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Brookwood's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Archer, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Brookwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mount Vernon on the 16th. As for Archer, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 16th.
