Soccer Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hastings on Thursday, Greenville came back down to earth. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-1 to the Wayland Wildcats on Saturday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Greenville couldn't quite close it out.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-5. As for Wayland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5-3.

Looking ahead, Greenville will head out to take on Lowell at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayland, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Wyoming at 6:45 p.m.
