It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rock Island had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Richwoods Knights. The victory was nothing new for Rock Island as they're now sitting on four straight.

Adam Donaldson and Patient Ebengo scored both of Rock Island's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Rock Island's win bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Richwoods, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-2.

Rock Island has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Marmion on the 28th. Richwoods does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
