Baseball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Rosewood Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 back in March.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Rosewood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-0 defeat against North Duplin on the 10th. As for Rosewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Farmville Central on the 9th.
