Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Hopewell against William Monroe on Tuesday as the team secured a 68-39 win. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Hopewell pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Meridian, their win bumped their record up to 27-0.
