Soccer Recap: Ferndale Comes Up Short

Ferndale lost against Western International back in September of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 5-0 to the Cowboys. While losing is never fun, Ferndale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Western International are ranked 56th).

Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-2. As for Western International, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Ferndale nor Western International have any future games scheduled.
