Volleyball Recap: Necedah Cardinals vs. Oakfield Oaks
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Necedah had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Oakfield Oaks 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Necedah's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Oakfield between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.
Necedah has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Oakfield, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-10.
Necedah will venture away from home to take on Fall River at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fall River will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Necedah surely won't give up without a fight. Oakfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
