Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Jefferson

Lincoln faced Jefferson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Patriots fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-1. The loss was Lincoln's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lincoln fell to 6-1. As for Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
