There's no place like home for Petersburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let the Braxton County Eagles get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Petersburg is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Braxton County, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
