Waldron has gone 3-0 against Acorn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Waldron Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Acorn Tigers at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Waldron took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 65-60 win over Mountainburg. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Acorn). They blew past Oden 70-42 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since November 19th.

Waldron pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Acorn, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for Waldron against Acorn in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the team secured a 70-33 win. Does Waldron have another victory up their sleeve, or will Acorn turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
