Football Recap: Collingswood Panthers vs. Gateway Regional Gators
Collingswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They and the Gateway Regional Gators were almost perfectly matched up, but the Collingswood Panthers suffered a 31-30 loss. The Panthers gained 71 more yards on the day, but it was the Gators that made the best use of them.
Despite the defeat, Collingswood had strong showings from Yon Anderson, who picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and John Antrilli, who threw for 144 yards and a touchdown.

A big part of Gateway Regional's victory came down to the chemistry between Gianni Pembroke and his top target Jacob Finger. Gateway Regional is 2-1 when Pembroke posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. Gateway Regional also got a significant boost from Aidan Barbato, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Collingswood's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Gateway Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
