Estacado had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Snyder Tigers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Estacado's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Snyder, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Estacado will challenge rival Big Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snyder is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
