Baseball Recap: Iberia Comes Up Short

Iberia was the 6-5 winner over Crocker when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell 8-4 to the Lions on Tuesday.

Iberia has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Crocker, their win was their 17th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iberia will welcome Linn at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Rangers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Crocker, they will face off against Laquey at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
