Basketball Recap: Evergreen Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Camryn Bullet and Adriana Jenkins

Evergreen Christian was the 46-21 winner over SEED DC when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Evergreen Christian Eagles fell to SEED DC 60-55. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 145th in Virginia, while SEED DC are ranked third in District of Columbia).

Adriana Jenkins and Camryn Bullet certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Jenkins went 9 of 15 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds, while Bullet went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points and five steals. Jenkins' afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Evergreen Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for SEED DC, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Evergreen Christian will challenge Connelly School of the Holy Child at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for SEED DC, they will welcome SEED at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
