Clarendon had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Valley Patriots 20-2 on Tuesday. That looming 20-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Broncos yet this season.

Clarendon let Mason Sims and Shane Hagood run wild. Sims fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4, while Hagood scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Those hits marked the first that Sims got this season. Another player making a difference was Dakotah Jameson, who scored two runs and stole Four bases.

Clarendon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Clarendon picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Clarendon will face off against Lockney at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley, they will square off against Sanford-Fritch at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
