Baseball Game Preview: Hale Center Owls vs. Olton Mustangs

For the second straight game, Hale Center will face off against Olton. The Owls will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hale Center has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 10.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Hale Center and Olton, and Olton kept the tradition alive. The Owls lost 13-3 to the Mustangs on Monday.

Hale Center saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fernando Pina, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was Pina's first of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Olton and bumps their season record up to 7-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Hale Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
