Basketball Recap: Ringwood Takes a Loss

Ringwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 44-36 to the Cherokee Chiefs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-24 back in December of 2024.

Ringwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Cherokee, they moved to 4-12 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Ringwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-25 defeat against Burlington on the 25th. As for Cherokee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-27 loss against Medford on the 25th.
