Basketball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the East Marshall Mustangs didn't end well, with the Hudson Pirates falling 76-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for East Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson has already played their next matchup (against Dike-New Hartford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Marshall is taking a road trip to challenge Grundy Center at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Grundy Center's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
