Football Recap: Temple City Takes a Loss

Temple City had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it five. They were outmatched by the La Canada Spartans and fell 44-3. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-3.

Jacob Paredes threw for 106 yards on seven of 19 attempts. Jake Leones was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards. On the ground, Diego Rowe rushed for 88 yards.

As for La Canada, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 39.1 points this season.

Among those leading the charge was Ethan Moore, who threw for 73 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 49 yards. Those 49 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
