There's no place like home for South Paulding, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rome Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Spartans have beaten the Wolves the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolves has come to flipping the script.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Paulding took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15.

Lindsey Henry paced South Paulding's offense, picking up six kills. Henry got some help from Ashtyn Brethauer and her eight assists. Heidi Tate controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Paulding's victory bumped their record up to 18-19. As for Rome, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season.

Coincidentally, South Paulding and Rome will both be playing Bremen the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
