Softball Recap: Hardin County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hardin County was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 15-1 to the Vienna Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hardin County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Vienna, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hardin County Cougars duke it out with Meridian Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on April 2. As for Vienna, they will square off against Anna-Jonesboro at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Anna-Jonesboro will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Vienna surely won't give up without a fight.
