Football Recap: Amundsen Comes Up Short

After flying high against Taft last Thursday, Amundsen came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Simeon Wolverines on Saturday, falling 26-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Lovell Smith had a dynamite game For Simeon., rushing for 72 yards and three TDs.

Amundsen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Simeon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Amundsen has already played their next contest, a 42-0 win against Brooks on the 9th. As for Simeon, they will face off against Westinghouse at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
