Church Point and Delcambre are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Church Point Bears will be playing at home against the Delcambre Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Church Point knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Delcambre likes a good challenge.

While Church Point didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Comeaux on Saturday as Church Point made off with a 15-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Little, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kohlden Dohmann, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Delcambre might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-2 to Ascension Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Church Point's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Delcambre, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Church Point took their win against Delcambre in their previous matchup on Monday by a conclusive 16-4. Will Church Point repeat their success, or does Delcambre have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
