Basketball Recap: Gleason Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clarksburg last Thursday, Gleason came back down to earth. The Gleason Bulldogs were outmatched by the Union City Golden Tornadoes and fell 61-18. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Golden Tornadoes: they've now lost five in a row.

Gleason's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Union City, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Gleason didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-57 win against Lake County on the 11th. As for Union City, they have also already played their next game, a 50-35 defeat against Greenfield on the 11th.
