Basketball Recap: Elma Takes a Loss

Elma saw some tournament action on Friday. They were dealt a 59-21 defeat at the hands of The Dalles Riverhawks. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Elma's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for The Dalles, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elma and Capital will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Elma is facing Capital at the right time seeing as Capital is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for The Dalles, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tillamook at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th.
