Payne Tech had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 65-57 win over the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-57 back in January.

Payne Tech's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points over those games. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
