Cumberland Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Everything came up roses for Henderson against Cumberland Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 83-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Henderson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
