Easton Belfiore Delivers Best Performance of Season
Easton Belfiore produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Brookville to the win on Friday. Belfiore rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
The victory snapped Brookville's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. Belfiore and Brookville will take on Port Allegany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] Gets a Boost from Ferguson in 45-0 Win
Jase Ferguson was instrumental in extending Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion]'s winning streak to eight on Friday. Ferguson was unstoppable, throwing for 334 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 66 yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Punxsutawney's probably not too fond of Ferguson given he always seems to get the better of them. Ferguson threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 97 yards on only 13 carries the last time he and Punxsutawney duked it out back in September of 2023.

Kolton Griffin Puts an End to Brookville's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Kolton Griffin, Brookville said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. On Friday Griffin rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Griffin has run in those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 20 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Sankey As Moniteau Fell 48-8
Moniteau was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Brendin Sankey did his best to prevent it. Sankey was dynamite, throwing for 146 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 52 yards.
Moniteau is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. Sankey and Moniteau will head out to challenge Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hunter Scherer Dazzles in Karns City Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Hunter Scherer of Karns City. Scherer picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Karns City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Scherer and Karns City will square off against Keystone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
