Basketball Recap: Sabetha Comes Up Short

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-18 loss at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rock Creek, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Sabetha will head out to square off against Hiawatha at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Creek, they will be home for the holidays to greet Marysville on Tuesday.
