North Mecklenburg is a perfect 10-0 against West Charlotte since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The North Mecklenburg Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the West Charlotte Lions at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Charlotte will be up against a hot North Mecklenburg squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 12. North Mecklenburg claimed a resounding 55-3 victory over Hopewell. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Vikings had established a 46 point advantage.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when West Charlotte took on Chambers on Tuesday. West Charlotte blew past Chambers 59-29. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly 30 points.

North Mecklenburg's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for West Charlotte, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Everything went North Mecklenburg's way against West Charlotte when the teams last played back in January, as North Mecklenburg made off with a 53-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Mecklenburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
