Baseball Game Preview: Anchor Bay Tars vs. Utica Chieftains

For the second straight game, Anchor Bay will face off against Utica. The Tars will be playing at home against the Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anchor Bay will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Anchor Bay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Utica by a score of 12-9 on Monday. The Tars haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

For Utica's part, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Loose, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another was Jimmy Lasceski, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Anchor Bay's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Utica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.
