Roosevelt's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Camden Patriots 23-2. The Teddies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Olivia Wohnoutka made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Wohnoutka was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. In other batting news, Roosevelt got a massive performance out of Cruz Pastrana, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. Roosevelt hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive games.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Camden, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will take on Highland Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
