Soccer Game Recap: Garinger vs. Hopewell + How To Watch

After failing to score in their last contest, Garinger made sure to put some goals up on the board against Hopewell on Monday. They never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Garinger's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Jace Garrett and Jairo Zavalla scored all five of Garinger's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Garinger's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 8-4-2. As for Hopewell, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Garinger has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against South Mecklenburg on the 17th. As for Hopewell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-1 win against West Mecklenburg on the 17th.
