The Bellingham Blackhawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Norton Lancers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.

Bellingham's last matchup with Millis could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Sunday. The Blackhawks lost 9-2 to the Mohawks. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Blackhawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bellingham got a good showing from Julian Ames, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Bellingham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Sullivan, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norton). Everything went their way against Foxborough Regional Charter on Thursday as they made off with an 18-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lancers as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Owen Musto looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Jimmy Cameron was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Grant Crosscup, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Norton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Norton's record is now 6-13. As for Bellingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
