Soccer Recap: Bryant Comes Up Short at Home Against Houston Academy

Bryant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Houston Academy Raiders on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Hurricanes couldn't quite close it out.

Houston Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will challenge Theodore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Long at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th.
